Enjoyable piece Jason!

Yes, we need God. There is no longer a foundation, a moral compass, a tether to ground people. So many struggling with mental illness because they have turned away.

This is public , but mostly for the author

I listened to your essay via podcast , and it was very good. I am right there with you with feeling that you can easily get into a left/right bubble with media ( as a disclosure i do not have X, nor a big social media presence ) and it can be very destructive.

Your last line “We need God” , made me smile , as a Christian myself , I have found that leaning on Gods word has helped to ground me , my wife has continued to help pull be back when i go to far.

I also believe there are powers at work that we cant see and are working very hard to destroy anything.

I like your stuff Jason , i hope you keep writing , i found you via Sam Cooper a few years ago.

A few things i will leave you with , a great audio listen is “The Screwtape letters” by C.S Lewis, really fun to listen to and i found it eye opening,

And lastly i will leave you with a quote i use quite often ( on all my toolboxes 😂

“Don’t let the bastards get you down”

Thank you! I agree with everything you said here and I appreciate the words of wisdom. I absolutely love CS Lewis. I'm going back to The Screwtape Letters today because of this comment.

I was unable to do a full recall of all the lies from every administration. I used 9/11 as the example and jumped to present day. Amazing how you read into it like that though.
