Excellent article! Exactly how I feel. My parents were immigrants but asked for nothing except an opportunity to build a life and become Canadian. Too bad that’s considered “colonial” now.
Once again, You have presented the situation concisely, and with clarity. If I might add My two cents worth. The human Spirit has a natural proclivity towards harmony, peace and love for all people. I think this natural proclivity, has been weaponized against the people. It is being utilized to gaslight the population, into accepting and furthering the imposition of globalization. Spoken by the Parasite seeking only more power and control: "Why are You resisting our plan for globalization? Does it not fall in line with Your natural desire for unity, peace, and harmony? Does it not resonate with Your idea that You are all One? Does it not fulfill the words of Your musical prophet John Lennon, in his song "Imagine"? Do You not see, this is the fast track to world peace?" The problem is, there is a vast difference between a unity of Spirit among the people, and a tyrannically forced, imposition of globalization: an imposition fueled by deliberately induced conflict, fear, and despair. The will of the people to choose, is not only discounted, but annihilated. The Spirit of course, is completely unacknowledged, and denigrated. No need for it, in a new world that runs more efficiently, when man becomes more integrated with machine, and therefore less human. I'm not sure if I explained this well, but I think You probably get My drift. Thank-You once again, for presenting this thought provoking and important piece.
Absolutely on point Jason. About a month ago my wife and I were out for a 30 minute evening walk in our central Alberta town and we decided to do a count, 7 obvious “old stock” Canadians as Trudeau used to call us to 86 new Canadians of south Asian descent out walking that evening. We’ve noticed a steady increase but now it’s an overwhelming onslaught. Also a sad fact that both parents in the standard Canadian family have to work just to keep the lights on and food in the fridge, so their children are being raised by the daycare’s that are all owned and staffed by East Asian new Canadians. Homes that are selling in our area are being bought up well over the asking price by East Indian old country money as fast as the signs get put on the lawn and inhabited by multi generational families that seemingly appear overnight. The takeover is nearing completion. Yet most Canadians don’t look up from their screens long enough to even notice that they have been replaced. A sad end for Canada.
Nailed it, Jason. Again. Oh so many years ago, when I was a teenager in the early 1970's, and Pierre Elliot Trudeau started the multiculturalism speeches, my mom said: "Multiculturalism will eventually destroy Canada. It will fail on a grand scale. Humans are tribal. Always have been, always will be." I have watched with absolute dismay, as various immigrants have changed our laws, got special treatment, and changed our country into something I don't even recognize anymore. Oh yeah, and my dad said: "Liberals are communists in disguise." And here we are.

Excellent article again. Just after I finished reading it, this came to my inbox from True North.
"Since Ontario launched its “equity” education overhaul in 2017, programs rooted in Marxist-inspired critical race theory and other DEI-rooted practices have been embedded throughout the public education system." So, how long will it take to deprogram the children from this cult I wonder.
I do really appreciate your work Jason, I'm going to disagree with you on the morphology of rock& roll, punk and country . YES early rock roll was very much an american black thing , really great but all 3 of those genres very much became very different very early via the 'anglo-sphere' and lesser the euro-sphere cultures. It's not accurate to say they were a black thing. Blues ...real blues it sucks its faded having rap aaand hip-hop replace it because blues very much influenced rock especially but keep in mind classical and folk Anglo and euro traditional realms influenced rock and country. They are they're own thing and really need to boil down to the specific artists . We all influence each other for something new, hopefully something with unique insights, experiences and empathy ( not sympathy)to express and share....to see each other more clearly. Me? I'm a folk metal , metal man; I'm 43, but I do listen to blues ,folk classical, and classic rock . I used to listen to rap and hip-hop as a young man but as my sense of self solidified I abandoned it as it doesn't speak to me and I prefer musicians over recoding artists/lyricists. Thank you sir.

Thank you!
Brilliant essay. Terrifyingly sad. I did not imagine this as I neared my retirement years. There doesn't appear to be any safe place to run to.

This is going to give me nightmares when I go to bed.
That's the point hahaha
Oh I know. Halloween is getting close. I have a feeling you're just warming up here, lol.

This needed to be said.
